OMERACT 2014, Budapest

The Outcome Measures in Rheumatology (OMERACT) was held in the Hilton Budapest in May this year. OMERACT is an independent initiative of international health professionals interested in outcome measures in rheumatology who integrate patients at each stage of the process. Over the last 20 years, OMERACT has served a critical role in the development and validation of clinical and radiographic outcome measures in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other rheumatic diseases. There was a strong Welsh contingency at the conference which was attended by Professor Ernest Choy, Dr Ann Taylor, Patient Partner, Mary Cowern and Research Fellow, Roxanne Cooksey.

WARN - Call for new project and  proposals information

The Welsh Arthritis Research Network (WARN) compiles regular reports to NISCHR which explores the activity of Welsh-led Musculoskeletal and Arthritis Research. In order to support the activities of Welsh Arthritis research, we ask that the RDG's and their researchers complete short project forms which summarise any new WARN associated research projects underway and also project proposal forms for submitted grant proposals. You can also input the information into the relevant section on the 'contact us' page of this website which will send the information directly to us.
